The September Concert is a charity which organizes free public concerts on the anniversaries of 9/11. It was founded by Haruko Smith, following the events of that day in 2001. The mission of The September Concert is to bring communities together, to reaffirm hope for peace, and to celebrate our universal humanity. This is accomplished by inviting musicians of every age, ethnicity, and genre to perform on the days surrounding the anniversary of September 11. Please join LIFE (LaGrange International Friendship Exchange) at Callaway Auditorium on September 8 to celebrate peace and friendship.
