Financial aid made easy. Learn more about an affordable private college experience at LaGrange College.

LaGrange College is one of the most affordable private colleges in the Southeast. In fact, when families total the institutional aid and other financial assistance available, they often report overall costs lower than public institutions.

In its 2022 rankings of American higher education, U.S. News & World Report named LaGrange a “Best Value,” colleges described by the publication as a “great school at a great price.”

In awarding the designation, the magazine takes into account a school’s academic quality and the net cost of attendance for a student who received the average level of need-based financial aid. Only those schools ranked in the top half of their ranking categories were considered for the best value list.

Consider these facts:

  • 95 percent of LaGrange students receive financial aid
  • LaGrange College awards over $24 million in total financial aid annually, including a variety of federal, state, institutional and private need-based and non-need-based grants, scholarships, loans, and student employment programs
  • Georgia’s HOPE scholarship and Zell Miller Scholarship do provide scholarship funds for LaGrange students
  • All Georgia residents enrolled full-time also receive the Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant in the amount of $850 per year
  • LaGrange delivers outstanding outcomes: 85 percent of the LaGrange College Class of 2021 had already accepted job, internship or graduate school offers before even finishing college
