Spanish professor, Dr. Alicia Campbell, will give a presentation on the history of growing coffee in Spanish-speaking countries. Some of the best coffee beans in the world are grown in the high altitudes of the Costa Rican hills, the mountains and nearby slopes of Mexico, as well as the Sierra Maestra mountains of Cuba. A coffee tasting will be hosted by Dr. Campbell, the Modern Languages Program, and the Office of Global Engagement.
