Iceland is a very unique country. It is an island within the Arctic Circle with a population of roughly ten times that of LaGrange. It is filled with friendly people, breath-taking scenery, Viking culture, folklore of elusive elves, and a vast reservoir of clean geothermal energy. It is called the Land of Fire and Ice because of its powerful volcanoes and its vast glaciers. We will watch video clips about the sights, culture, and other features of Iceland.
