(4-12 credits) An opportunity for students to gain added applied experience and insight in approved off-campus manufacturing settings. Internships consist of at least 40 working hours per credit hour in areas related to the discipline. Assignments will be designed as hand-on learning for students to gain knowledge and skill in a particular MET area. Advisors, program coordinators, department chairs, and the internship coordinator (or designee) must approve the cooperative experience before the student begins their work. Student may receive a grade for their Cooperative Education learning.
