Curriculum Theories and Philosophies

This course takes a comprehensive approach to the field of curriculum by investigating cultural, ideological, political, ethical and philosophical assumptions that undergird educational policy and practices. The aim of this course is to prepare teachers and curriculum designers with 126 theoretical competencies that undergird the planning, design and evaluation of curriculum. Participants will develop a curriculum proposal that demonstrates praxis between theory, planning and evaluation.
