Start your Panther journey

Welcome Panther! We are honored to welcome you to the LC community. Now that you're a LaGrange College Panther, it's time to get more acquainted with the campus and to prepare for your LC journey. At New Student Orientation (NSO), you will meet faculty and staff, learn about campus resources, build relationships with your fellow Panthers, and complete steps to ensure you are prepared for life at LC.

Whether you are an incoming first-year student, transfer student, international student, or dual enrollment student, we will provide answers to your questions so that you can confidently transition into this new journey. NSO is the first step of many during this transition, and the entire LaGrange College community is committed to ensuring your success from day one. We look forward to supporting you as you thrive as a new student and empower you to leave your own paw print on the Hill.

First-year Student Definition

First-year students are either a) a student who has not completed any college-level coursework or b) a first-year student who has completed college-level coursework through a dual enrollment program while still in high school. Students with dual enrollment credits are classified as first-time students since they have not previously enrolled full-time in a postsecondary institution after high school graduation.

Transfer Student Definition

Transfer students have previously enrolled in a postsecondary institution after high school graduation and have earned college credits that apply toward a degree at LaGrange College. Transfer students who have less than 30 earned credits will be housed in community style housing.
