Biography

As the daughter of a dance teacher, Jaime Moore began her dance training as soon as she could walk. Despite extensive training in ballet, jazz, acrobatics, hip hop and lyrical, Jaime realized her true passion was tap. She has been extremely fortunate to have studied under some of the most influential tap legends of old, as well as the up and coming tap legends of tomorrow. Jaime's love of performing led her to pursue a degree in Commercial Entertainment at Columbia State in Franklin, TN. While living in the Nashville area, she had the opportunity to work in videos for DC Talk, as well as several Industrials and Demos for major corporations.

Upon graduation, she was hired as of Host/Dancer/Show Captain of the “NickToons Summer Jam Show” at Paramount's King's Island in Cincinnati, OH, where she won an IAAPA award for “Outstanding Performer in a Children's Show”. Realizing her love of working with children, she has since settled down in Alabama, where she co-directs Make Your Move Performing Arts with her best friend/sister.

Her goals are many. High on the list is to instruct dance in a positive manner, to create thinking and intelligent dancers who are not only technically brilliant, but creative and passionate about dance. Many of Jaime's proteges have credentials in Broadway/Television/Film, operate successful studios, appear on numerous convention circuits, and most recently, win Miss America! Other credits include: Master Teacher, National Award Winning Choreographer, National Competition Adjudicator, And Mommy to her beautiful daughter, Camden.
