I have taught mathematics in higher education for 35 years. Starting at Auburn University from 1989 to 1994. Then start teaching mathematics at LaGrange College from 1994 to the current time: 2024. I have taught math courses from college algebra, calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, probability, statistics, analysis, finite method. I have personally advised a few math majors who went on to obtain Ph.D. degree in mathematics and are very successful in industries. They constantly stay in touch with me. I also taught courses outside mathematics: I taught karate as a physical education course, a Bruce Lee's course called: Breaking the Barriers, how Bruce Lee's philosophy help him break barriers in martial arts, films and culture. In my spare time, I am an active member of the Sunday School in the First Baptist Church in LaGrange, Georgia, I continue to practice karate, I swim for fitness and go to gym regularly. Please, write a bio that I could put on the college’s website that might reflect these qualities to advertise the personal touch and versatility of a small regional undergraduate college like LaGrange to help recruit students.
