Justin C. Muller, PhD, LMFT, joined the LaGrange College faculty in 2018 and serves as Program Coordinator of the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. A Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Georgia and native of Cayce, South Carolina, Dr. Muller earned his doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of South Carolina in 2016 and his master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Valdosta State University in 2013. He teaches Theories in Counseling, Professional Practice and Ethics, Family Counseling, Crisis, Trauma, and Grief Counseling, and Group Dynamics, among many others. His areas of expertise include systemic approaches to therapeutic services for African American at-risk youth, facilitating racial dialogue with undergraduate students, and multicultural ethical considerations in counseling.
