Student Achievement

Business students Kendyl Anderson, Michael Hasse and Parker Lovett presented at the Applied Sports Management Association annual conference case study competition in the spring semester 2023.

Business student Emma Rose won a Delta Mu Delta Regional Award Scholarship in 2022.

Historically, 100% of business graduates who desired to go to graduate school were accepted.

The retention data on Business majors at LaGrange College is quite good.  The majority of students who major in business persist in the major.  The 2020 data, though significantly lower than the years before and after, can be attributed to COVID.

National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) data shows that Business students at LaGrange College perform above their peer group (Southeast Private colleges) and above the average of all LaGrange College students in the areas of Quantitative Reasoning and Student-Faculty interaction.  NSSE scores are on a 60-point scale and include: 0 = Never, 20 = Sometimes, 40 = Often, 60 = Very Often.
