Professor Tom Thomsen speaks with a Philanthropy and Development cohort in a classroom

Designed to be high-impact, a LaGrange master's in philanthropy and development will position you to reach your goals, both professionally and personally. During the program, you’ll be able to network with fundraising professionals from around the country.

Gain practical knowledge
The only degree of its kind in the Southeast, the program is designed to provide practical knowledge and real-world skills. Whatever your fundraising focus, put what you learn into use immediately.

Earn your credential—quickly and affordably
You will be able to complete program requirements in just 25 months. You can even receive academic credit based upon your previous professional experience. Merit scholarships and financial aid are available. The GRE is not required.

Learn from ACFREs and industry leaders
The program’s faculty includes leading philanthropy professionals. They bring years of experience and expertise in the areas of campaigns, major gifts, planned giving, annual fund, marketing, advancement leadership and the legal and ethical aspects of fundraising. Instructors have included Alice Ferris, John Lippincott and Eric Daubert.

Work twice as smart—not twice as hard
LaGrange College is an approved education provider by CFRE International. The majority of our master’s level courses offer between 18 and 26 points, so you can work toward two credentials at the same time.
