The LaGrange College Family Council, established in 2005, is an advisory group of parents that fosters communication between the college administration, current students and families.
Family Council efforts are aimed at supporting the students and their families in the process of growing the family, supporting the family and maintaining a family for life relationship with the institution beyond college.
- Growing the Family
- Family Council members work with the Office of Admissions to assist in recruitment efforts, particularly communicating with parents of prospective students and parents about the LaGrange College experience.
- Supportive Family
- Family Council members work to offer support to our current students by leading efforts to the entire Council to be actively present and supportive during Freshman Orientation. It encourages and celebrates the LaGrange College spirit.
- Family for Life
- Family Council members assists the Career Development Center in its works of helping students discern their vocations and creating networks to benefit graduating students and alumni of the College.
The Council is comprised of parents of current LaGrange College students. You are welcome to serve on the Family Council by contacting the Office of Alumni and Family Relations (706) 880-8244.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to become actively involved in your student’s life at college. Remember your involvement still matters.
