Book Brigade marches again Jan. 27
Jan. 7, 2009

Students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the College are invited to participate
in the Jan. 27 Book Brigade, an event that will allow participants to take part
in moving books from Banks Library to their new home in
the Frank and Laura Lewis Library
. Though the bulk of the move will be accomplished by professional movers, the
Book Brigade allows the College community to carry on a tradition that began when
students, faculty and staff moved the Library from Hawkes Hall to Quillian in 1949.
The Brigade was employed again in 1963 when everyone pitched in to move the Library
from Quillian to Banks. The event begins at 3:00 p.m. Register below to participate.
