Students awarded Presidential Scholarships

Feb. 23, 2006

Georgia residents Holly Brown of Resaca, Amanda M. Olsen of Fortson, Morgan Shields of Waverly Hall and Rachel Watson of Peachtree City recently earned LaGrange College’s highest scholarship award, the Presidential Scholarship.

As top entering freshmen, the four will receive full scholarships beginning in the fall of 2006 and renewable for the following three years.

Presidential Scholars were selected through a recent Scholar Weekend competition at the College where students were judged on their performance in group discussions, written essays and individual interviews.
