Dear Graduates, Parents, Faculty, Trustees and Friends,
LaGrange College will be celebrating achievements of our students and the Class of 2008 during the month of May. We hope that you will be able to join us as we acknowledge the success of our students. If you are part of the Class of 2008, all undergraduates are expected to be present for Honors Day, Baccalaureate, and Commencement. We encourage all graduate students to participate in our Commencement Ceremony.
Commencement will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 17th. IN THE EVENT OF DRIZZLE OR LIGHT RAIN, the ceremony will proceed on time. If we foresee an opportunity to celebrate without drizzle or light rain, we may delay Commencement. If weather conditions appear threatening, Commencement may be delayed until Saturday afternoon or Sunday afternoon. Graduates and guests are encouraged to take this possibility into account when making travel plans. The audience is encouraged to wear a rain poncho instead of using an umbrella; however, umbrellas are permitted. If you have doubts about the weather and its impact on Commencement, you may call 706-880-8000 or check our web page. Faculty and students are encouraged to also check their campus voice mail.
If you have any questions regarding these academic events, please contact the Office of Vice President for Academic Affairs at 706-880-8236.
For special parking arrangements, please call Wendy Adcock at (706) 880-8296.
CONGRATULATIONS to the Class of 2008!
