Refund of Excess Financial Aid
If your financial aid funding exceeds your current tuition, fees, room, board and other authorized charges, you will receive a refund of the remaining funds within 14 days of the first day of classes or 14 days from the date the credit occurred (if after final registration). All refund checks are issued and retrieved from the Business Office. A photo ID is required.
If you wish to leave the remaining funds on your account for subsequent terms, you must sign a Student Authorization Form with the Business Office. If there are residual financial aid funds as a result of a PLUS loan, the refund will be issued to the parent borrower unless authorized by the PLUS loan borrower.
