The Financial Aid Office has simplified the application process by developing application procedures designed to address the types of financial aid you are seeking with links directly to each application.

Students who wish to apply for all available financial aid programs should follow Process A.  Students only interested in academic scholarships should follow Process B.

We have provided helpful hints to assist you.

Process A:

Apply for admission to LaGrange College, if you have not already done so.

Complete the 2008-2009 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
(LaGrange College's Title IV School Code is 001578)

Complete a Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant/HOPE Scholarship Application (Georgia residents).

Process B:

Apply for admission to LaGrange College, if you have not already done so.

Complete a Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant/HOPE Scholarship Application (Georgia residents).

What's Next?
After the U.S. Department of Education's processor receives your FAFSA application, it will analyze your information and use an established need analysis formula to calculate your Expected Family Contribution (EFC). The results, a Student Aid Report (SAR), will be sent to the colleges and universities you listed on your application. If you submitted required signatures electronically with your application and provided a valid e-mail address, you will receive an e-mail that provides a link to a secure web site that will allow you to view and print your SAR. Otherwise, you will receive your SAR by mail in approximately 2 weeks.

If you are required to submit a Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant Application, the Financial Aid Office requests daily reports of applications submitted to the Georgia Student Finance Commission.

Once LaGrange College receives and process your application, we will follow-up with you by mail regarding any additional information necessary to complete your financial aid file.
