You and your family are expected to contribute to the cost of college attendance to the extent of your ability.  However, realizing that it is not always possible for a family to meet college expenses alone, financial aid programs are available to assist your family in paying for college.  To identify families in need of financial assistance, a federal need analysis form was developed.  The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)is the need analysis form used to determine your family's Expected Family Contribution (EFC).  The EFC is deducted from the Cost of Attendance to determine a student's financial need. 

Before a financial aid award is made, you must be accepted for admission to LaGrange College.  Students conditionally accepted or transient are not eligible for financial assistance.  Transient students are encouraged to contact the financial aid office at the "home" institution regarding financial aid availability.  You must also meet federal eligibility requirements.
