LaGrange College will be celebrating achievements of our students, especially the Class of 2015, during the months of April and May. We hope that you will be able to join us as we acknowledge the success of our students. If you are part of the Class of 2015, you are expected to be present for Honors Day, Baccalaureate, Commencement Rehearsal, and Commencement. Seniors, if for any reason, you are unable to attend any of these events, you must submit a petition to be excused to the Office of the Provost. We encourage all graduate students to participate in our Commencement Ceremony.
Commencement will begin at 8:30am on Saturday, 16 May. In the event of drizzle or soft rain, the ceremony will proceed on time. If weather conditions appear threatening, Commencement may be delayed until Saturday afternoon or Sunday afternoon. If weather conditions persist, a change in venue may become possible. A definitive rain plan will be published on the LaGrange College website. Graduates and guests are encouraged to take this possibility into account when making travel plans. The audience is encouraged to wear a rain poncho instead of using an umbrella; however, umbrellas are permitted. If you have questions or concerns about the weather and its impact on Commencement, you may call 706 880.8000. Faculty and students are encouraged to check their campus voice mail. If you have any questions regarding these academic events, please contact Lindsey Elkins in the Office of the Provost at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please continue to refer to this page throughout the following weeks for FAQs, updates, and new information.
For your convenience, you have the option to view Commencement live via closed circuit television in the Dickson Assembly Room of the Mabry Gipson Student Center.

If you do not already have your cap and gown, please order yours immediately with the Business Office (706 880.8231).
Diploma frames and other graduation gift items are available at the Panther Connection Gift Shop. The Panther Connection will be open one hour prior to Commencement and will reopen following the Commencement Ceremony.
Q: Do we need tickets for our family and friends?
A: No tickets or invitations are needed for Commencement. Come early for a good seat! If the weather forces the relocation of the event to Callaway Auditorium, tickets will be required, and typically (depending on the number of graduates) there are approximately 4 tickets available to each graduating student. If the ceremony is moved to the auditorium, tickets will be issued to the students in the days preceding the event.
Q: I have not been able to visit with Jostens when they have been on campus. How can I purchase graduation announcements?
A: If you still need to order announcements and other items for graduation, please visit the following website: http://www.jostens.com/apps/store/customer/1040458/LaGrange-College/
