Graduation

Commencement 2013

CELEBRATING ACHIEVEMENTS
Congratulations to the Class of 2013!
LaGrange College will be celebrating achievements of our students, especially the Class of 2013, during the months of April and May. We hope that you will be able to join us as we acknowledge the success of our students. If you are part of the Class of 2013, you are expected to be present for Honors Day, Baccalaureate, Commencement Rehearsal, and Commencement. Seniors, if for any reason, you are unable to attend any of these events, you must submit a petition to be excused to the Office of the Provost. We encourage all graduate students to participate in our Commencement Ceremony.

Commencement will begin at 8:30am on Saturday, 18 May . IN THE EVENT OF DRIZZLE OR SOFT RAIN, the ceremony will proceed on time. If weather conditions appear threatening, Commencement may be delayed until Saturday afternoon or Sunday afternoon. Graduates and guests are encouraged to take this possibility into account when making travel plans. The audience is encouraged to wear a rain poncho instead of using an umbrella; however, umbrellas are permitted. If you have questions or concerns about the weather and its impact on Commencement, you may call 706 880.8000 or check our web page. Faculty and students are encouraged to check their campus voice mail. If you have any questions regarding these academic events, please contact Lindsey Elkins in the Office of the Provost at lelkins@lagrange.edu or 706 880.8236. Please continue to refer to the graduation information page on our website  throughout the following weeks for updates and new information.
