Barba selected to GSAC all-conference team

Senior Jessica Barba was selected to the GSAC All-Conference team as announced by the conference office Tuesday. LaGrange also had four players earn GSAC All-Academic honors.

Barba is a four-year letterman at the post position for the Panthers. This season, she has played in all 25 games and has started the last 19. Barba leads the Panthers in scoring and rebounding, averaging 13.3 points and 9.4 rebounds. She leads the team in 11 different categories. Barba is second in the GSAC in scoring and rebounding. She has set a new school record with 229 rebounds this season. Barba has nine double-doubles this season. She had career-highs of 27 points and 16 rebounds against Spelman. Barba has scored the fourth most points in a season by a Panther and is sixth on the Panthers' all-time rebound career list.

Junior Jessica Boler, sophomore Ashley Hoglund, senior Jennifer Penston and senior Shannah Mabry earned all-academic honors.
