Panthers finish GSAC schedule with sweep of Agnes Scott

LaGrange College ended its GSAC schedule with a 3-0 sweep of visiting Agnes Scott at the CEB Gym on Friday night. The Panthers upped their conference record to 4-6, while improving to 12-11 overall. Agnes Scott slipped to 5-15 overall and 1-9 in conference play. LaGrange took the three games by scores of 30-23, 30-16 and 30-18.

Panthers sweep Spelman to even record

LaGrange College swept visiting Spelman College 3-0 in a GSAC match at the CEB Gym on Tuesday. The Panthers evened their season record at 11-11 and improved to 3-6 in the GSAC. The Jaguars (6-19, 1-9 GSAC) lost their sixth straight match. Lisa Burgee had a career-high 14 kills to lead the Panthers.

GAINESVILLE, Ga. – LaGrange College dropped two matches to Covenant College and Brenau University during a tri-match Saturday at Brenau University. The Panthers lost both matches by 3-1 scores. The non-conference losses left the Panthers 10-11 on the season.

Panthers even season record with sweep of visiting Judson

LaGrange College evened its season record with a 3-0 sweep of Judson College at the CEB Gym on Friday in a non-conference match. The Panthers are now 9-9 on the season. The Panthers set a season-high with 52 kills in the match. Five Panthers had six or more kills, with Britny Greensage leading the way with 11.

Maryville College swept LaGrange College 3-0 in volleyball Sunday at the CEB Gym. The Lady Scots took the match by scores of 30-20, 30-22 and 30-23. The Panthers dropped to 8-9 on the season and 2-6 in GSAC play. The Lady Scots remained perfect in conference play at 7-0 and improved to 12-9 overall.

LaGrange College split two matches Saturday at the CEB Gym. The Panthers swept Methodist University 3-0 after being swept 3-0 by Piedmont College in a GSAC match. The results leave the Panthers at 8-8 overall and 2-5 in conference play. The Panthers beat Methodist by scores of 30-16, 30-24 and 30-26. They fell to Piedmont by scores 30-23, 30-27 and 30-15.

Huntingdon ends Panthers' winning streak at four

Huntingdon College ended LaGrange College's winning streak at four matches with a 3-0 sweep Wednesday night at the CEB Gym. The Panthers saw their overall record drop to 7-7 and 2-4 in the GSAC. Huntingdon (9-8, 4-2) extended its winning streak to six and swept the regular season series from the Panthers. The Lady Hawks won the first meeting 3-1 on Sept. 18 in Montgomery, Ala.

LaGrange College won its fourth straight match with a 3-0 sweep of Brenau University at the CEG Gym on Friday night. The Panthers upped their record to 7-6, while the Tigers fell to 1-13. It was the first home match for the Panthers after 11 straight on the road.
