Panthers announce hiring of new volleyball coach

LaGrange College announces the hiring of Julie Moses as head volleyball coach. Moses will officially begin her duties July 1. Moses comes to LaGrange from Elmira College in Elmira, N.Y. For the past two seasons at Elmira, Moses has been the assistant head coach and the head coach for the junior varsity team. more...

Panthers set to host GSAC volleyball tournament Nov. 1, 2007 LaGrange College will be hosting the GSAC Volleyball Championship Tournament on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 2-3. Regular season champion Maryville is the top-seed for the tournament. The Panthers (12-12) are seeded fourth. The tournament winner receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III national tournament. Maryville is the five-time defending champion and the top seed for the tournament. more...
Oglethorpe spoils Senior Night for Panthers Oct. 30, 2007 Oglethorpe University spoiled LaGrange College's volleyball Senior Night with a 3-1 win at the CEB Gym on Tuesday. LaGrange College ended its GSAC schedule with a 3-0 sweep of visiting Agnes Scott at the CEB Gym on Friday night. The Panthers upped their conference record to 4-6, while improving to 12-11 overall. Panthers sweep Spelman to even record Oct. 23, 2007 LaGrange College swept visiting Spelman College 3-0 in a GSAC match at the CEB Gym on Tuesday. The Panthers evened their season record at 11-11 and improved to 3-6 in the GSAC. The Jaguars (6-19, 1-9 GSAC) lost their sixth straight match.
