Panthers end regular season with loss to Reinhardt

WALESKA, Ga. - LaGrange College's volleyball team ended the regular season with a 3-1 loss to Reinhardt College on Wednesday. The Panthers (11-16) face Agnes Scott in the first round of the GSAC Championship Tournament on Friday at Piedmont College.

It was the second loss of the season to the Eagles. Reinhardt took the first two games of the match by scores of 33-31 and 30-24. The Panthers won the third game 30-15. The Eagles closed out the match with a 31-29 fourth game win.

Seniors Niki Metcalf and Megan Moore led the Panthers with double-doubles. Metcalf had a team-high 13 kills to go with 22 digs. Moore had team-highs with 19 assists and 25 digs. She also had seven kills.

Kiley Kirkpatrick had eight kills and Britny Greensage had seven. Grace Burgess had 19 digs, while Kayla Black had 17.
