Metcalf receives top female scholar-athlete award

Niki Metcalf was honored as the top female scholar-athlete at ceremonies in Mariotti Gym on Tuesday. Metcalf, a four-year letterman on the volleyball team, received the Dr. Waights G. Henry Academic Award for the senior female scholar-athlete with the highest GPA. She has a 3.78 GPA and is a biology major. Metcalf was on the GSAC All-Academic team three years and a GSAC All-Conference selection as a senior.
