Panthers announce hiring of new volleyball coach

LaGrange College announces the hiring of Julie Moses as head volleyball coach. Moses will officially begin her duties July 1. Moses comes to LaGrange from Elmira College in Elmira, N.Y. For the past two seasons at Elmira, Moses has been the assistant head coach and the head coach for the junior varsity team.

Maryville survives Panthers' comeback in GSAC semifinals

Maryville College survived LaGrange College's comeback for a 3-2 win in the semifinals of the GSAC Championship Tournament on Friday in the CEB Gym. The loss ended the season for the Panthers (13-13), while the Lady Scots (19-12) advanced to the finals for the eighth straight year.

Panthers set to host GSAC volleyball tournament

LaGrange College will be hosting the GSAC Volleyball Championship Tournament on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 2-3. Regular season champion Maryville is the top-seed for the tournament. The Panthers (12-12) are seeded fourth. The tournament winner receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III national tournament. Maryville is the five-time defending champion and the top seed for the tournament.

Oglethorpe spoils Senior Night for Panthers

Oglethorpe University spoiled LaGrange College's volleyball Senior Night with a 3-1 win at the CEB Gym on Tuesday. The Panthers finished the regular season 12-12, while Oglethorpe upped its record to 9-26.Before the match, seniors Raven Bowen, Kiley Kirkpatrick, Yvette Sanchez and Heather Tidwell were recognized for their careers at LaGrange.
