Panther women fall in GSAC first round

ATLANTA, Ga. - The LaGrange College women's tennis team saw it's 2009 season end with a 1-8 loss to Spelman College in the first round of the Great South Athletic Conference Tournament on Saturday.  The loss drops the Panthers to 3-11 for the season (1-5 GSAC).

Kelly Lane grabbed the lone victory for the Panthers, defeating T. Bernard 8-2 at the #5 singles position.  Rachel Watson took Gabrielle Pinque to a third set but lost in a 10-8 super tie-breaker.
