Panther's senior shortstop Kim Woodard was named to the NFCA Division III All-Atlantic Region Team announced on May 7.  It was the third-straight year that she earned this honor, selected to the second-team.

Woodard, a Gainesville, Ga. native, was a four-year All-GSAC performer and a USCAA All-American during her first two seasons.  She was a GSAC Freshman of the Year along with this year's GSAC Player of the Year Honors playing her first season at shortstop after spending the previous three seasons at third base.  She was voted the team's best defensive player her first two seasons while being named best offensive player during her junior season.

A Psychology major, Woodard will graduate in December of 2007.  She leaves the softball program with a .393 career batting average with 537 at bats, 211 hits, 150 runs, 31 doubles, 10 triples, seven home runs, 122 RBI, 49 walks and 52 stolen bases.  All of these categories are among the top-10 all-time at LaGrange.
