In the first game, a strong second-inning performance proved to be all the offense the Panthers needed. Holly Hazelwood highlighted the five run inning with a two-RBI triple down the left field line. Amanda Jones had a sacrifice fly and Kayla Yeargin had a run-scoring single in the inning.
The Panthers added an insurance run in the fourth. Chloe Turnipseed (pictured), scored an inside-the-park home run to give the Panthers a 6-0 cushion.

In the second game, the game was scoreless until the fourth inning. Kellee Scandrett's bunt down the first base line scored Kim Woodard to put the Panthers up 1-0. Woodard had led off with a single, stole second and moved over to third on Kristi Underwood's single.
In the sixth, Turnipseed led off with a walk and came around to score on Underwood's double. Scandrett followed with a double to score Underwood. Leah Flowers drove in Scandrett with a single to give the Panthers a 4-0 cushion.
The Panthers scored three more runs in the seventh to end the scoring. Scandrett had a two-run triple in the inning and Hazelwood had an RBI single.
