Panthers blank Huntingdon for first GSAC win of season

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - LaGrange College picked up its first GSAC win of the season with a 1-0 win over Huntingdon College on Saturday. The Panthers upped their season record to 2-10 and 1-3 in conference play. They avenged a 2-1 home loss to the Hawks (5-8, 1-3 GSAC) on Sept. 18.

Rhett Fordham got the game's only goal 13 minutes into the first half. It was Fordham's team-leading fifth goal of the season. Jase Crenshaw got the assist on the play.   

Goalkeeper Ben Rollins got his second shutout of the season. He had five saves in the game.

The Panthers host Piedmont College in a GSAC game Thursday. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.
