Piedmont pulls away from Panthers for 7-1 win

DEMOREST, Ga. - Piedmont College pulled away from LaGrange College on Thursday for a 7-1 GSAC win. The Panthers dropped to 0-6 overall and 0-2 in GSAC play. The Lions improved to 4-3 overall and 1-1 in conference play.

After falling behind 1-0, the Panthers came back to tie the game. Kojo Cole-Kesse scored his second goal of the season to tie the game 1-1. Piedmont answered with goals from Drew Griffin and Josh Seabrook in a three-minute span to go up 3-1 at halftime.

Griffin added three more goals for Piedmont in the second half. Griffin leads the GSAC with 13 goals. The Lions scored three goals in the final seven minutes of the game for the 7-1 final score. 

The Panthers host Atlanta Christian on Tuesday, Sept. 25.
