Panthers tied for 22nd after first round at NCAA championship

LaGrange College is tied for 22nd after the first round of the NCAA Division III Golf Championship at Hawthorns Golf and Country Club near Indianapolis, Ind. |

The Panthers trail first round leader Rhodes by 23 shots. Tournament favorite and top-ranked Methodist is 28th in the standings, three shots behind the Panthers.

Bo Tiller had the low round for the Panthers. He shot a four-over par 76 and is tied for 31st in the individual standings. Anthony Yacovazzi was next with a 78, Alex Elorriaga 81, Freddy Uribe 87 and Ryan Willis 88.
