Hill named SLIAC defensive player of the week

Sophomore defensive back Tim Hill (Jacksonville, Fla./Terry Parker) has been named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference football Defensive Player of the Week for the week of September 22-28. Hill is the first Panther to earn conference player of the week honors.

Hill had four solo tackles, including three tackles for a loss of six yards in the Panthers' 61-0 SLIAC victory over Blackburn (Ill.). He also returned a fumble 11 yards for a touchdown.

LaGrange's defensive unit recorded the first shutout in the program three-year history and held Blackburn to -3 yards of total offense. The Panthers had three defensive touchdowns in the win.
