Wallace named to D3football.com Team of the Week

Junior running back Mario Wallace has put his name to another first by a LaGrange College football player. Wallace was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week for his play in last week's historic win over Birmingham-Southern. He was named as a returner on special teams. 

Wallace had 278 all-purpose yards in the 34-31 victory. He returned a punt 63 yards for a touchdown, the first ever by a Panther. Wallace added 111 yards receiving, 80 yards rushing with a touchdown and 24 kickoff return yards. He lacks 72 all-purpose yards of reaching 3,000 in his career. Wallace was also named the Panthers' offensive player of the week by the coaching staff.
