Team player of the week awards for Eureka

LaGrange College head football coach Todd Mooney announced the team players of the week for the week ending Nov. 2. The players of the week are: Mario Wallace, offense; Josh Britt, defense; W.C. Yates, special teams; Jackson Hardeman, scout team offense and Kyle Sanders, scout team defense.

Wallace rushed for a game-high 154 yards against Eureka on just four carries, all in the first half. It was his third straight 100-yard rushing game. Wallace ran for three touchdowns for the third time this season. Britt had six solo tackles, that included two for losses and a quarterback sack. Yates recovered a fumble on a punt return that set up the Panthers' third touchdown.
