Bridgewater game players of the week announced

LaGrange College head football coach Todd Mooney announced the team players of the week for the week ending Sept. 23 for the Bridgewater game. The players of the week are: Trey Johnson, offense; Justin Pair, defense; Josh Stripling, special teams; Robert Walsh, scout team offense and Andrew Christie, scout team defense.

Johnson, a freshman tackle, helped the Panthers get season highs in total offensive and rushing yardage. He graded out at 86% for the game, the highest-rated offensive lineman. Pair, a junior linebacker, led the defense with eight total tackles. He had four tackles for losses and a quarterback sack. Pair is tied for second on the team with 23 total tackles this season. Stripling was perfect on extra points and averaged 57 yards on kickoffs.
