Shorter players of the week announced

LaGrange College head football coach Todd Mooney announced the team players of the week for the week ending Sept. 16 for the Shorter game. The players of the week are: Nick Langley, offense; Jeremy Pickens, defense; Tripp Duke, special teams; Tyrone Bonds, scout team offense and Corey McKenzie, scout team defense.

Langley is the offensive player of the week for the second straight week. Langley had five receptions for 86 yards against Shorter. He leads the team for the season with 12 receptions for 187 yards. Pickens had nine total tackles and an interception on defense.
