Players of the week announced for Mississippi game

LaGrange College head football coach Todd Mooney announced the team players of the week for the week ending Oct. 14 for the Missisppi College game. The players of the week are: Brandon Crawford, offense; Rob Baker, defense; Josh Stripling, special teams; George Lankford, scout team defense and Ben Crumbley, scout team offense.

Crawford had a 36-yard pass reception to set up the Panthers' touchdown and a 16-yard kickoff return. He is second on the team this season with 264 yards rushing and also has 107 yards receiving. Baker had five total tackles on defense. For the season, Baker has 24 total tackles, including three for losses. Stripling averaged 61 yards on his three kickoffs and had one for a touchback. He is averaging 57.2 yards per kickoff this season with four touchbacks.
