Panthers select 2007 captains

The 2007 captains for the LaGrange College football team were announced by head coach Todd Mooney. Senior Erik Hardison (Macon, Ga./Mt. de Sales), junior Richard Okpani (Smyrna, Ga./Lithia Springs), junior Justin Pair (McDonough, Ga./Union Grove) and sophomore Jeremy Pickens (Deltona, Fla./Pine Ridge) were elected by their teammates.

Hardison and Pair served as captains for the Panthers' inaugural season in 2006. Hardison was named the team's Most Valuable Offensive Player. He led the team in receiving with 35 receptions for 355 yards and two touchdowns. Pair, a linebacker, was selected as the team's Most Valuable Defensive Player. He led the team with 57 tackles.

Okpani, also a linebacker, was third on the team with 50.5 tackles. Pickens, a defensive back, was fifth on the team with 45 tackles and had an interception.
