Panther football completes inaugural season

The LaGrange College Football Team stormed into the arena for its inaugural season and battled its way through 10 contests. And though by year's end the win column registered a cipher, the debut season for the Panthers was a success.

LaGrange College finished its inaugural season of football with a 41-10 loss to Centre College on Saturday at Callaway Stadium. The Panthers ended the season 0-10, while the Colonels improved to 5-4.

LaGrange College officially began its inaugural football season with the first practice Sunday. The Panthers had 109 players report Saturday for preseason camp. Equipment was issued Sunday morning with practice in the afternoon.
