Women finish third at GSAC Pre-Conference meet

The Panther cross country teams participated in the GSAC Pre-Conference race hosted by Piedmont College in Dillard, Ga. on Saturday.   The course was located on the campus of the Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School, and consisted of a 6K course for the women and a 8K course for the men.  The field included four other GSAC schools: Agnes Scott, Maryville, Spellman and Piedmont.

Panther teams run at Oglethorpe Invitational

ATLANTA, Ga. - The LaGrange College cross country teams travelled to Oglethorpe University for their fourth meet of the season.  LaGrange, Tennessee Wesleyan, Darton, Clark-Atlanta, Toccoa Falls, and host, Oglethorpe University made up the meet.  Darton took both the men's and women's races.  The Panther women placed third overall in the meet behind Tennessee Wesleyan.

Panther teams compete at Georgia State Invitational

The Panther cross country teams competed in the Georgia State University Invitational on Saturday. The meet was held at the host's home course at the Panthersville sports complex.  The meet, attended yearly by the Panthers, featured a total of twenty schools, including four from NCAA Division I, who were scored separately.

Panther teams open season at Truett-McConnell Invitational

The Panther cross country teams opened their season at the Truett-McConnell Invitational in Cleveland, GA.  The Truett-McConnell course proved one of the toughest the Panthers have faced in recent years, featuring a number of long, steep inclines.

Peek begins first season as Panthers' head coach

Chuck Peek begins his first year as the head men's and women's cross country coach.  Peek was a three-year letterman for the Panthers in cross country.
