Panther teams run in GSAC Pre-Conference meet

The LaGrange College cross country teams competed in the GSAC Pre-Conference Meet at Agnes Scott College on Sept. 30. The women finished fifth out of six teams, while the men were third out of four teams.

Sophomore Laura Dresdow led the women with a time of 31:42 over the 6K course. Lisa Heath followed Dresdow with a time of 31:51. Following Dresdow and Heath were: Jessica Barba (32:05), Katie Cummings (34:09), Heather Power (36:17), Amara Hickson (37:40), Brandi Black (39:11) and Jacquie Harris (41:06).

Sophomore William Jordan led the men with a time of 34:15 over the 8K course. He was followed by: Bill Simons (34:23), Chuck Peek (34:30), Grant Kendall (35:31), Stephen Szares (36:08) and Micah McFadden (38:45).

The Panther teams will return to Agnes Scott for the GSAC Championships on Nov. 4.
