Donnett named to head Panther cross country, tennis teams

Matt Donnett has been selected as the new head coach for the Panther men's and women's cross country and tennis teams. 

Donnett is a 1996 graduate of Columbus State University with a degree in Political Science/Public Administration and a minor in management. He was a member of both the Cougar tennis and cross country teams. Donnett attended Troup County High School in LaGrange where he was the tennis team's Most Valuable Player for three years and a four-year letterman.

Donnett has worked as an assistant tennis professional at the Callaway Gardens Resort in Pine Mountain, Ga. He has been actively coaching tennis students for over 16 years. Donnett has been USTA state ranked as both a junior and as an adult in Georgia.

Donnett is married to the former Amber Higgins. They have a son, Jake, age 7.
