Peek begins first season as Panthers' head coach

Chuck Peek begins his first year as the head men's and women's cross country coach.  Peek was a three-year letterman for the Panthers in cross country.  He helped lead the Panthers to back-to-back GSAC men's championships in 2004 and 2005. Peek earned all-conference honors both years with a second place and fifth place finish.  The Panthers were conference runner-ups in Peek's final year on the team. Peek also was a two-time GSAC All-Academic selection. In addition to being on the cross country team, Peek lettered three years in swimming and a year in tennis. He served as the assistant coach for the swim team last season. Peek holds a degree in history and a minor in religion from LaGrange. He graduated in 2006. Peek also serves as Minister of Youth for First Baptist Church of West Point, Ga. He married to the former Noel Stephens.
