Some came for only one of the thirty-nine events and many were here from the beginning to the end. The earliest class represented was 1930 and the most recent 2002. Some enjoyed a meal together, while others played basketball, baseball or golf. All ages danced under the stars on the new residential quadrangle to the music of the "Swingin' Medallions." The exuberant weekend celebration concluded with a solemn Alumni Memorial Celebration on Sunday. Family and friends filled the Chapel beyond capacity to remember those alumni who had died since last homecoming, with music, words of comfort, lighting of candles and communion.
When alumni come back every year, they reflect on the educations and friendships obtained while in college which served as a springboard for making them the person they are today. The traditions of our school continue to build and expand each time you return to campus. Thank you for playing an active part in Homecoming 2002 and your alma mater. The Homecoming celebration just gets bigger and better every year so mark your calendar for Homecoming 2005 scheduled for October 17 - 19! Join us and create new memories to add to those you already treasure of your college days
