Dear Class Coordinator,

Reunion Planning Handbook

Congratulations for being a true leader among your classmates accepting the challenge to plan your reunion.  Reunions can rekindle friendships, start new ones and strengthen LaGrange College relationships.  October 17 – 19, 2008 will be the best weekend of the year thanks to you and your committee.

The Office of Alumni and Family Relations will do everything in our power to make your reunion special, but Reunion Committees are the key to real success.  This handbook is designed to help you plan a fun and memorable event.  The essential components to build a pleasurable reunion are:

1)    Attend the 2008 Alumni Celebration

2)    Gather your friends for your reunion picture

3)    Lunch on the Lawn or have your own tailgate party

4)    Panther football

The Reunion Planning Handbook addresses the most relevant topics you encounter when preparing for your reunion.  While some information is class specific, most of the information is applicable to all classes.  Some will apply to your class and some will not, so just use the parts you need.  Please use this handbook as a reference and planning tool as you work through the process of creating a weekend for your classmates to remember.

It is my job to make sure you are comfortable with your responsibilities.  We understand that these are volunteer positions, and you are graciously giving your time and energy to LaGrange College.  Thank you for your contribution!  I will be available throughout the entire process and will gladly help you in any way I can.

Your efforts are vital to the success of your reunion.

Sincerely,

Andy Brubaker
Director of Alumni and Family Relations
