Michael grew up in Gary, Indiana and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in
Accountancy from LaGrange College in 2005. He says that his favorite hobby
"by far is playing softball." TV shows that he never misses include Hell's Kitchen
and Top Chef.
What does Michael look for in a student? "There is no one particular mold
of student that attends LaGrange College," he says. "We have students from a wide
array of ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds; however, the characteristic
I look for most in a prospective student is maturity."
What does Michael like about his job? "I get the most satisfaction helping
prospective students and their parents simplify the admission process. There
are a lot of families out there whose son or daughter will be the first to attend
college. For them, this can be a very scary experience! I take a lot
of pride in helping them realize that we, the LaGrange College Admission Staff,
will be there every step of the way."
