Chair Kim Barber Knoll is an Artistic Consultant to  The Papermill Theatre where she was Artistic Director for ten years and a resident director and actor for twenty years. She was a founding member of the company in 1987. She was nominated Summer 2005 for the New Hampshire Governor's Award for Distinguished Arts Leadership.

The Papermill produces a summer season of mainstage musicals and a full summer season of original children's theatre folk and fairy tales. It is a summer theatre housed at the North Country Center for the Arts located in Lincoln, New Hampshire, at the gateway to the White Mountains National Forest, two hours north of Boston. Since 1996, a number of LaGrange College students have traveled north as members of the summer company as actors/singer/dancers, technicians, writers, musicians and administrative staff. Qualified LC students have an opportunity to audition and interview for positions at The Papermill each spring.  The Papermill senior staff hail from UCLA, Yale, Penn State and Rutgers University.
