Nate Tomsheck - Technical  Director, Assistant Professor - joined the department in 2004.  He holds a MFA in Technical Design and Production from the Yale School of Drama, and a BA in Technical Theatre and Acting from Whitworth College, Spokane, WA, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.  He is also a member of USITT.  Mr. Tomsheck came directly to LC after completing Yale's extensive professional training program.

Since moving to LaGrange, Mr. Tomsheck has been extremely busy freelancing as Scenic Designer, Lighting Designer and Technical Director for local community and professional theatre groups.  Show credits include:  Love Letters, Brighton Beach Memoirs, Oliver, A Christmas Survival Guide, High School the Musical, and The Odd Couple.

At LaGrange College, Mr. Tomsheck serves as Technical Director, but also designs scenery and lights.  Courses taught include Stage Craft, Intro to Design, Lighting Design, Scenic Design, The Art of the Mask/Masque, and Scenic Painting.
