Casting & Technical Assignments

All Theatre Arts majors or intended majors are required to audition for each departmental production. These auditions are formal presentations, closed to fellow students, which require two contrasting pieces not to exceed two minutes. Auditionees must present a typed resume and, if not on file, Seniors present a head shot at each audition. Callbacks are usually held the same evening with cast lists posted the following morning. First-year students may be cast their first semester at LaGrange College. All majors or intended majors, if not cast, are assigned duties in each production either as technical staff, box office, house management or publicity.

All LC students are encouraged to audition.  Students who are not Theatre Arts majors may be given a selection from a script to read at the audition.
