SETH BAGWELL ('04) as worked as box office manager at Papermill Theatre, NH, for several summers.
KATIE BETTS ('96) works as a web programmer during the day, but after work she directs her attention to Kanata Theatre, a community theatre in Kanata, Ontario, Canada. She has appeared in On the Flight Path by popular Canadian playwrite, Norm Foster, and as Claire in Proof, and Mina in Death of Dracula. She was recently appointed to the theatre's board of directors as director of Membership and Training.
KEN CHAPMAN ('65) returned to the LC stage in 2007 after appearing here in 1966's Royal Gambit, directed by Marilyn McKay. Ken came back to LC for Homecoming Weekend and revived his role as Mr. Maraczek in the musical She Loves Me. After stints at the Pocket Theatre, Emory University and the University of Georgia, he moved to New Hampshire where he has lived since 1970. In 1986, he was part of the group that started the North Country Center for the Arts Papermill Theatre. He met Professor Kim Barber Knoll at the Papermill in 1987. He is a nationally registered Paramedic and Moderator of the Town of Woodstock. In September, he was named "Volunteer of the Year" by the NH Charitable Foundation.
SUSANNA LIVEAKOS BRENT ('99) currently lives in Henderson, NY, with her husband, three cats and a dog. She loves her day job in the Creative Events Services department at the Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas, but she and her husband, Les, devote most of their free time to their new theatre, Good Medicine Theatre. CAITLIN BRUGGEMAN ('07) moved to Atlanta after graduation where she is a performance intern at the Actor's Express. She also works as an Entertainment Ambassador at the World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta.
PATRICK CAMPBELL ('97) is currently Production Manager of the Aurora Theatre in Gwinnett county. Since graduation he has performed across the country at amusement parks, toured regionally, and performed locally in theatres from The Shakespeare Tavern to the Alliance Theatre. He lives in Lawrenceville, GA, with Susan Weaver (also a Theatre Arts student from LC, now a R.N., B.S.N.) and their 5 year old son, Zachary, who can sing show tunes. Patrick would like to thank the folks who set up the Max Estes Theatre Scholarship, allowing him to help pay for his theatre training at LaGrange. The money was not wasted.
SARAH A. CONNER ('03) is living in the San Francisco Bay area. She completed her second summer season with Festival Theatre Ensemble as stage manager for Hamlet and Lion in Winter in rep with Comedy of Errors. Sarah is scheduled to stage manage La Victima with Teatro Vision at the Mexican Heritage Center opening in October. She is also on the venue staff for Berkeley Rep at the Rhoda Theatre.
NYLSA DUNBAR ('00) works for a non-profit organization called Buzzly Fire Safety, Inc., where they teach elementary-aged children fire safety skills. She was stage manager for the Lafayette Society for the Performing Art's show The Odd Couple working with alumni Ryan McWhorter and Toby Smallwood. Nylsa is living in Fayetteville, GA, and heavily involved with the drama ministry at her church, Heritage Christian Church.
SCOTTIE KNOLLIN ('07) lives in Atlanta where he most recently filmed a commercial for Nestle, was a print work model for My'Stic Entertainment Group, and began co-directing the upcoming stage musical, The Point of the Story. He was in two films in Atlanta, the ensemble drama Colours, and the romantic comedy Love on the Rocks. He also works full-time as an Entertainment Ambassador for the Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta.
VALERIE LONGSHORE ('03) is currently a Harris County (GA) High School theatre arts teacher. She is also a co-producer of Road Trip, a series for Georgia Public Broadcasting encouraging students to stay in school and learn more about the educational opportunities available to them. In the past few years, she has been assistant director/stage manager for LaGrange Lyric Theatre's Bullets Over Broadway; lighting designer for the Lafayette Ballet's Nutcracker, Wizard of Oz and Peter Pan; and stage manager for Lafayette Theatre Company's Love Letters.
WHITNEY PAGE ('05) is working as an apprentice at the award-winning professional theater, Imagination Stage, in Bethesda, Maryland.
CHRIS RUMERY ('00) is a freelance costume designer living and working in New York City. Credits include: The Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival and The Central City Opera in Colorado.
BARBIE EVERETT SHEPPARD ('97) is mom to daughter, Blythe Jentrie, born on September 29, 2006. For four summers she has served as the director of a middle school musical theatre camp at The Grand Theatre in Cartersville, GA. She also serves as a judge for local literary competitions in the dramatic interpretation category.
TOBY SMALLWOOD (THEATRE MINOR, '97) lives in Atlanta and does scenic painting for the Aurora Theatre as well as produces original productions at the Benson Center in Sandy Springs using Senior Citizens. Toby was most recently in the Lafayette Society for the Performing Arts production of The Odd Couple directed by Ryan McWhorter.
AUSTIN TIDWELL ('02) has moved to NYC and is the deck crew chief for the Atlantic Theater, an Off-Broadway house and the company from which David Mamet and William H. Macy helped start the Atlantic Acting School. He is also a freelance carpenter/electrician doing load-ins and strikes for several other Off-Broadway theaters. Austin is also a performance poet and one of the founders of Culture Shock, a weekly open mic and free form artistic happening at Sutra Lounge on the Lower East Side. He regularly performs there and at Bar 13 and Nuyorican Poet's Cafe.
ERIA VALl ('99) is currently the Director of the Gilmer High School Theatre Depart in Ellijay, GA. GHS has a very active Thespian Troupe that, in addition to several other activities, hosts the school's annual talent show and silent auction. Visit GHS online at www.gilmerschools.com.
TRAVIS WALKER ('00) is a designer and production manager living in New York. Credits include: The Gotham Chamber Opera and The Cell on Off-Broadway. He is on the faculty of Marymount Manhattan University teaching lighting and sound.
RAINBOW WELDON ('01) continues her work as director of her own Creative Arts Education Company. She teaches theatre arts classes, workshops, and summer camps for children throughout the Chicago area. Her company also partners with Chicago Kids Company, Niles Park District, Agassiz Performing Arts School and Center for Spiritual Living, Chicago.
KATIE WESTBROOK ('06) worked with the Missoula Children's Theatre in Missoula, MT, as a tour actor/director and toured California, Oregon, and Washington.
